Spike Harrison Mockumentary: Banned in San Francisco

Brash, young filmmaker "Spike" Harrison may appear far above the everyday fray as he sits in his airy, Sausalito studio. But his latest contribution, the mockumentary STEP (Highway to Hell), places him firmly in the ranks of Norcal urbanista bad boy directors.

Harrison's schedule these days, jam-packed as it is, doesn't allow him to work on short films like STEP very often. But when he does, he takes on the city bureaucracy in a way that hasn't been seen since the days of the muckrakers.
